In 1970, United States Congress passed the Public Health CIGARETTE SMOKING Act.This act was designed to limit the practice of smoking. There was a stronger health warning on cigarette packages which was also added to decrease interest in abusing tobacco. In addition to that, cigarette advertisement was banned on American radio and television. And when an adult went to purchase a pack of smokes, there was a huge label on it saying
